Coach Lindsay Phenix

Hi everyone! I am a lifelong runner with 56 marathon and ultra distance finishes as well as Ironman triathlon 140.6 races under my belt and counting. I am a UESCA certified ultrarunning coach. I am from Houston, Texas, but live in Los Angeles, CA.  My passion is 100 milers, but I have extensive knowledge and training in everything from 5k and onward including road, trail and mountain running and triathlon. I was on a survival show on Discovery Channel and really got to develop my skills of endurance and mental fortitude through that experience. I am also a sports massage therapist for 14 years & have a vast understanding of the body and sports injuries. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

Coaching Philosophy

My philosophy and approach to running is one that derived from pure passion. I was always the “weird kid” or outsider that just loved to run with my dad, before or after school or on weekends too. It was our way to bond and do something fun together.

I believe my approach to coaching is one that is passion driven too. I believe we are so much more capable of doing hard things than we realize.

I would love to help you reach your goals with a well organized and systematic approach, but also one that has room for passion and doing the training your body is feeling and responding to best.

For the pure primal love of running, let’s have some fun!

Coach Lindsay supports athletes from 5k’s-Ultramarathons. She has extensive knowledge and training in everything from 5k and onward including road, trail and mountain running and triathlon.

Runner Testimonial

“When it comes to running, Lindsay is an expert. I began running as a true novice, and she was my guidebook. Between the encouragement, tips, and overall positive influence, she ultimately helped me to run and finish my first marathon AND in my goal timeframe! I owe a lot of my accomplishment to Lindsay. Not only for her expertise in running, but also for her positive disposition and fortitude which motivated me to never give up!”
