Post Run Oats

Ingredients:

Organic Sprouted Rolled Oats (One Degree) - 48g (approx. ½ cup)

*Blueberries (frozen) - 75g (approx. ¾ cup)

* Dark Sweet Cherries (frozen) - 75g (approx. ¾ cup)

* Ground Flax Seeds - 12g (approx. 1.5 TBSP)

* Kale - 21g (approx. 1 cup leaves - stalk removed if desired)

* Grapefruit (medium sized)

* Directions: Cook the oats in 1 cup of water for about 5 minutes over medium heat. While oats are cooking (and if using frozen fruit), add them to the bottom of your serving bowl with the ground flax seed. You will add the hot content on top of this to thaw a bit before eating. Once oats are done (and most of the water has been evaporated), turn off the heat and add the kale to the oats. Stir for 30 seconds to wilt the leaves. Remove mixture and add to the bowl with the frozen fruit. While the hot oats are thawing the frozen fruit, slice your grapefruit and add to the top of the oats. Mix everything together and enjoy. *Use organic ingredients when possible. (approx. 508 kcal/15g protein/94g carbs/11g fat)
